Greenwich and its majestic dunes are located just across the bay from St. Peters, King County, along the north
shore of Prince Edward Island. Before this place became a National Park you could literally walk through the biggest dune as a path cut through the bottom of the dune along a sand marsh. Many people in the area including the Member of Parliament for that riding worked togethor to have the area environmentally protected and once the area became a National Park a very nice balance was created allowing visitors to see these incredible landscapes. I live about 20 minutes from this area and try to visit at least once a year. |
